Terms of use and end-user license
Who you're dealing with
SimTrack is made by Paulius Mielkaitis, Lithuania ("we"). Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller of record for tax and consumer-law purposes and issues your receipt and license key.
What you get
A personal, non-transferable license to install and use SimTrack on computers you own or control, for your own use. One licence key works on up to 2 PCs at a time; deactivate it in the app to move it to another PC. SimTrack works without a key for a 7-day free trial, then needs one. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense, or make it available to others, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly allows.
Early access
SimTrack is sold as early access. It works, it is tested by real users, and it is still changing. Features may be added, changed or removed. Updates released during early access are included in your purchase.
Compatibility
SimTrack provides head tracking to games through the TrackIR-compatible and FreeTrack head-tracking interfaces. We list games as "verified" only when a user has confirmed them; other games that support those interfaces are expected to work but not guaranteed. If SimTrack does not work with your game, you are entitled to a refund under the refund policy.
Refunds
See the refund policy: 14 days from purchase, any reason, through the store.
Your responsibilities
Run it on hardware you're allowed to use. Don't use it to cheat in online competition where head-tracking devices are prohibited by the competition's rules. Keep your license key to yourself.
No warranty, limited liability
SimTrack is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, including the two-year conformity guarantee for digital content in the EU.
Third-party components
SimTrack includes open-source components under their own licenses (MediaPipe and aiohttp under Apache 2.0; Three.js under MIT; a TrackIR-interface client from the linuxtrack project and a game table from FaceTrackNoIR under permissive terms). Their notices ship with the software. SimTrack is not affiliated with NaturalPoint, TrackIR, or any game listed.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
